Duration: Concentration, up to 1 round

You extend your hand and point a finger at a target in range, granting you supernatural insight into how to best harm the target. You gain advantage on the next attack roll you make against the target, provided the spell has not yet ended. If the attack is on an object and hits, it inflicts 1d6 additional points of damage, if it is on a creature it inflicts 1d4 additional points of damage.

The extra damage inflicted by the attack increases by 1d6/1d4 respectively when you reach 5th level (2d6/2d4), 11th level (3d6/3d4) and 17th level (4d6/4d4).
