Temporal Buffer
5th-level Transmutation
Casting time: 1 reaction when you or a creature you can see within range takes damage or is affected by a harmful effect
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M (an hourglass worth at least 25 gp)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 round

The target receives no damage and can't suffer any harmful effects for the duration of the spell, including those of the trigger. Keep track of the damage they would have received and the effects that they would have been subjected to. Once the spell ends, all accumulated damage and effects occur simultaneously to the target.

At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a slot of 6th level, the duration increases to 1 minute; 1 hour with a slot of 7th level, 8 hours with a slot of 8th level, and 24 hours with a slot of 9th level.
