Deletion[edit]

Support There is no reason this page cannot be deleted as per the previous requested based on wiki policy. There is one primary contributor which is the author, and said author is the one to issue the request. The request template was also removed prior to the 14 days listed for discussion to occur. --Max7238 (talk) 13:34, 30 May 2019 (MDT)

This diff changes this spell from something unusable to something usable. It's a major contribution. --Green Dragon (talk) 09:11, 4 June 2019 (MDT)
That edit didn’t change the effect of the spell, only the way in which it was worded. I don’t consider that a substantial enough change to block deletion. — Geodude Chatmod.png (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 09:28, 4 June 2019 (MDT)
As a related example, if you rewrite a publication in a term paper so someone can understand it, it's already considered to be enough to remove copyright from a certain work. So, yes, I would call rewriting a spell to use D&D mechanics and be understandable a major contribution. --Green Dragon (talk) 10:10, 4 June 2019 (MDT)
Significance isn't about the effect in the game, it's about the effort put into the writing. Meep didn't just fix a typo. The rewording is enough to be considered a co-author. Marasmusine (talk) 11:37, 4 June 2019 (MDT)
Makes sense to me. Is Meep still around? If we could hear their opinion, it would be possible to put the concept of deletion to rest. If they oppose, as a significant contributor, then clearly the page should stay. If they release the page for deletion, the request could be reinstated. Is that an acceptable compromise? If Meep isn't around to comment, then the page should still remain; based on conversation over in the deletion policy page, it would be unfair to only wait the two weeks afforded by the initial request. --Max7238 (talk) 12:42, 4 June 2019 (MDT)
I guess you could ask Meep if they want this bit of their work deleted. --Green Dragon (talk) 23:37, 4 June 2019 (MDT)

Wizard?[edit]

Considering wizards get spells like lightning bolt, even having this option on the wizard spell list feels like a trap. Is there something I am failing to see here? - Guy 10:44, 19 May 2020 (MDT)
