You summon a magical merchant who appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within range. The merchant has the appearance of an ordinary humanoid, dressed in elegant clothes and carrying a bag full of goods. The merchant is friendly to you and your companions, and can buy or sell any type of item that is not magical, rare, or illegal. The merchant has a limit of 500 gp to buy or sell items. You or your companions may attempt to haggle the price up or down at the DM's discretion. The merchant refuses to buy or sell items that have no market value, and cannot be convinced to do so by any means. The merchant disappears when the spell's duration ends or when you use your action to dismiss him.
After casting the Merchant, you must wait 1d4 days before casting it again.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the merchant limit increases by 50 per spell slot.
