From D&D Wiki
3rd-level Conjuration | |
Casting time: | 1 minute |

Range: | 60 feet |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | 8 hours |
You summon a spirit or group of spirits of your choice to fight for you appearing in spaces you can see within range. You conjure
- One will-o'-wisp,
- Two spectres,
- Four skulks, or
- Four shadows.
A spirit disappears back to where it came when its hit points are reduced to 0 or when the spell ends.
A summoned spirit is friendly to you and those you tell it not to attack. Roll initiative for the summoned spirits collectively. You are psychically linked with the spirits and they will obey any command (psychic or verbal) that you issue them. This psychic link makes it so that you take one-quarter of any psychic damage the spirits take. If you issue no command, they will continue the last command you issued and defend themselves from any hostile creatures.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots, you choose one of the summoning options above, and more creatures appear: twice as many with a 5th-level slot, three times as many with a 7th-level slot, and four times as many with a 9th-level slot.
