Subtle Foreshadowing
3rd-level Divination
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Self
Duration: 1 Round

Catch a glimpse of the near future to anticipate enemy behaviors. The caster gets advantage on all attack rolls and all enemies attacking the caster get disadvantage on attack rolls. Even if enemies succeed on disadvantaged attack rolls, the damage dealt is halved if the caster succeeds a DC 20 Dexterity Saving Throw. Conversely, damage dealt to enemies by the caster is doubled if the caster succeeds a DC 20 Wisdom Saving Throw. If the caster also has the Message cantrip, they may use Message in parity with Subtle Foreshadowing as a bonus action (rather than an ordinary action) to warn an ally of enemy behaviors, thus giving the effects of Subtle Foreshadowing to that ally instead of the original caster. The effects of this spell last until the end of the caster’s next turn.

At Higher Level Spell Slots: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the effects of Subtle Foreshadowing last for more rounds. For instance, using a 4th level spell slot will make the spell last for two rounds, a 5th level spell slot will make it last for 3 rounds, etc.
