Saving Throws Str +5, Con +2 Limited Amphibiousness. The shalarin can breathe air and water, but it needs to be submerged at least once every 4 hours to avoid suffocating. Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the shalarin has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. ACTIONSMultiattack. The shalarin makes two attacks with its trident or tapal, or one attack with its trident and one with its heavy crossbow. Trident. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, or 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack. Tapal. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack. Heavy Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 100/400 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d10 + 1) piercing damage. REACTIONSSpike Shatter. When the shalarin takes damage from a creature within 5 feet, the attacker must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take piercing damage equal to the damage it dealt to a maximum of 5. |
