Pearl Armor (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Armor (Plate), common

Crafted by shalarin pearl harvesters, pearl armor is "forged" atop clothing, typically made of sheeps' coral, in the mother-of-pearl sacs of giant clams. The result is a set of incredibly protective, light armor that is about as flexible as stone. This tradeoff, combined with its beauty, makes it a common choice for ornamental armor.

Ornamental Defense. You gain a +1 bonus to your AC, but the armor's Strength requirement increases to 22. If a creature that meets this Strength requirement dons the armor, the armor shatters, being reduced to a mundane set of plate armor made of pearlescent plates.
