This creature was created as part of the Player Equivalent CR variant rule using the Naruto: Shinobi (5e Class) class and Genin (5e Background) background, and as such does not follow traditional CR.

Chakra. Sōma has 20 red chakra points which he can expend. Sōma regains 5 chakra at the end of each of its turns.

Endurance. When Sōma is targeted by an effect that allows him to make a Constitution saving throw to take half damage on a success, he takes no damage on a success and half damage on a failure.

Ninja Speed. Sōma can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Sōma can make 3 unarmed strike or Memory Wiping Blast attacks.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (3d4 + 3) magical bludgeoning damage.

Memory Wiping Aura (10 Chakra). Every creature within 10 ft. must attempt a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, their Intelligence decreases by 1 as a portion of their memories are erased. If this reduces their Intelligence score to 0, the creature dies instantly. A creature regains 1 point of their Intelligence score at the end of a long rest.

Memory Wiping Blast (5 Chakra). One creature within 20 ft. must attempt a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, their Intelligence decreases by 1 as a portion of their memories are erased. If this reduces their Intelligence score to 0, the creature dies instantly. A creature regains 1 point of their Intelligence score at the end of a long rest.

Possession (20 Chakra). One humanoid creature within 5 ft. that is no larger than Large must attempt a DC 18 Intelligence saving throw. On a failure, the creature can not act on their turn, both creatures occupy the same space, and Sōma gains the best of either creatures' ability scores and their features, and adds their chakra point maximums together. Any damage Sōma would take is split evenly between them and the creature. Sōma may end this at will. If Sōma is targeted by fuinjutsu while this is active, the caster may choose if this effects the host creature, or only Sōma.

Sōma's exact origins are unknown, though it is possible that it is a remnant of Kaguya Otsutsuki's mind due to bearing many similarities with Reibi, such as being powered by negative emotions, and the other Tailed Beasts, such as reforming from its lingering chakra years after its death. It is known only by a few, being constantly dispatched by the shrine maidens of Daidai Village. It is unknown why it menaces society, draining the memories of anyone who comes within its sight, only that its existence necessitates the village's mastery of fuinjutsu.
