Reincarnate Skeleton (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
|Casting time:||1 hour|
|Components:||V, S, M (250 lb of rare oils and unguents worth at least 1,000 gp, which the spell consumes)|
Touch a dead humanoid skeleton or a piece of a dead humanoid skeleton, and provided that the creature has been dead no longer than 2 weeks, the spell forms a new adult body for it and then calls the soul to enter that body. The magic fashions a new body for the creature to inhabit, which likely causes the creature's race to change. The GM rolls a d20 and consults the following table to determine what form the creature takes when restored to life, or the GM chooses a form. If the target's soul isn't free or willing to do so, the spell fails.
|2||Dragonborn, chromatic - roll d6: 1.black, 2.blue, 3.green, 4.red, 5.white, 6.Paisley Dragonborn|
|3||Dragonborn, metalic - roll d6: 1.brass, 2.bronze, 3.copper, 4.gold, 5.silver, 6.Pseudodragonborn|
|4||Dwarf, grey (duergar)|
|8||Elf, dark (drow)|
|11||Gnome, deep (svirfneblin)|
|19||Lizardfolk genius (5+3d4 Intelligence)|
The reincarnated creature recalls its former life and experiences. It retains the capabilities it had in its original form, except it exchanges its original race for the new one and changes its racial traits accordingly, (and reincarnation as lizard folk will change intelligence).
