The shields shed bright light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet, as well as granting temporary hit points equal to double the spell slot level used. The flux of light returns to you in a straight line at the start of your next turn. You and any allies the light touches gain temporary hit points equal to double the spells slot level used. Temporary hit points gained last until the end of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the temporary hit points gained are equal to double the spell slot level used.
