Range: | Touch |
Duration: | Instantaneous |
You transmute the blood flowing onto a person body into poison. You can generate one of the following effects with this spell:
- Venomous Blessing: For 1 hour, the blood of a willing target becomes poisonous. When a creature hits the target with a melee attack while the blood is poisoned, the creature takes 1d6 poison damage and it is poisoned until the end of its next turn, ending the spell. In addition, for the duration, the target can choose to release the poison on an attack roll, coating its weapon with the poisoned blood, causing the same effects on its next successful attack within 1 hour, ending the spell.
- Venomous Curse: Make a melee spell attack against a creature. On a hit, the creature takes extra 1d6 poison damage and it is poisoned for 1 minute. At the start of each of its turns until the spell ends, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d6 poison damage. On a successful save, the spell ends.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the initial extra damage dealt by the attack increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
