The primordial ninja tool of legend from the Uemon clan, a clan of exiled rogue nin, the petrification gauntlet bears many similarities to Samehada, being a tool created from a living thing capable of draining a target of their lifeforce.
Innate Petrification. If you are attuned to the petrification gauntlet but do not have the Crystal Style nature, you gain the Petrification, Giant Hexagonal Weapon, and Growing Crystal Thorns jutsu.
Mastered Petrification. If you are attuned to the petrification gauntlet and have the Crystal Style nature, you gain the following:
- When you cast Petrification, you no longer need to spend additional chakra to cause the target to become vulnerable, and no longer need to concentrate on the jutsu (though you still need to spend chakra to maintain it).
- A single cast of Giant Hexagonal Weapon affects every thrown weapon made on the same turn.
- The cost of Crystal Needles is reduced to 1.
