Nuibari (Shinobi World Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (longsword), Rare (Requires attunement) This needle-like weapon has a strand of wire contained inside it and deals magical piercing damage instead of slashing. Additionally, attack and damage rolls with this weapon gain a +1 bonus. As a free action for 1 chakra, you may create up to 5 feet of metal wire. You may create 5 additional feet for every 2 chakra points spent when you do so to a maximum number of feet equal to ten times your proficiency bonus. When you hit a creature that you can grapple with an attack using Nuibari, you may spend at least 5 feet of wire to force them to attempt a Strength saving throw with a DC equal to your Jutsu save DC. On a failure, they are "sewn". A sewn creature may retry this saving throw as an action, ending this effect on a success. While a creature is sewn, you may only be as many feet away from the creature as feet of wire remaining. As an action, you may force any sewn creatures to attempt a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 1d8 + 1 magical slashing damage and are moved 15 feet toward one sewn creature of your choice. When you hit a sewn creature with an attack using Nuibari, you may deal an additional 2d8 + 2 magical slashing damage to cause them to no longer be sewn as you rip the wire out of them. When you make a thrown weapon attack, you may spend 1 chakra to grant it the effects of a wired shuriken. |
