Siege Mortar

Siege mortars are sized-up versions of normal mortars used to attack with indirect fire on enemy positions. Siege mortars typically fire projectiles between 500mm and 600mm, and are usually mounted on stationary fortifications or large slow mobile transport vehicles. While they are incapable of direct fire like a field gun or howitzer, a single shot can level entire enemy fortifications or city blocks. When a target is in the center or close blast zone of a shot, the siege mortar can hit targets behind cover and deal quadruple damage to objects and structures.

Before it can be fired, the siege mortar must be loaded and aimed. It takes five actions to load the weapon, two actions to aim it, and one action to fire it.

Indirect Fire. The siege mortar fires a shell at a point within 16 miles that does not need to be within the line of sight of creatures operating it. Each creature within 320 feet of the point must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw, taking the listed damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
