Morgott's Cursed Sword (5e Equipment)

Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement by a creature with a Dexterity score of 16 or higher) This greatsword grows in power with you. It does not have the Heavy or Two-Handed properties while attuned to it and gain the Finesse and Versatile (2d12) properties instead. Also, while attuned, a spellcaster can add their spellcasting ability modifier to damage rolls made with this damage. You gain a +1 bonus to attacks and damage rolls made with this weapon. When you reach 7th level, this bonus increases to +2. At 15th level, it increases to +3. Blood weapon. Morgott's Cursed Sword has a Bleed Buildup of 50. (See Bleed (5e Variant Rule).) Ash of War: Cursed-Blood Slice. As a bonus action, you can channel your soul energy into the blade to bend the blood of those around you. You immediately move up to 20 feet without provoking opportunity attacks and then make an attack against up to 3 creatures within range. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 fire damage and suffers a Bleed Buildup of 60. After this, you can use your action to slash again, this time targetting five creatures. Once you've used this ash of war once, you can't use it again, until you finish a short or long rest. |
