Masamichi Yaga (Jujutsu Kaisen Supplement)
Masamichi Yaga[edit]
Medium humanoid (Human), lawful good Armor Class 22 (Unarmored Defense)
Saving Throws Str +11, Int +13 Cursed Energy. Yaga has 56 cursed energy which he can expend. He regains all cursed energy spent at the end of a long rest. Yaga's Army. Yaga has 15 tiny, 6 small and 2 medium corpses at his disposal. Cursed Armor. Yaga can spend up to 7 cursed energy to give himself temporary hit points equal to the cursed energy spent times 10 for 1 minute (no action required). Yaga can only benefit from this feature again after 1 minute or having its temporary hit points reduced to 0. Curse-Empowered Strikes. Yaga deals additional 6 (1d12) necrotic damage whenever he attacks with his Katana or Unarmed Strikes (already included). Additionally, his attacks are considered magical. Cursed Energy Recovery. While in combat, Yaga regains 1 cursed energy at the beginning of his turns, up to his maximum. Brawn/Intuition. Whenever Yaga is forced to make a Strength or Intelligence saving throw, he takes half as much damage on a failure and no damage on a success. 50 Meters In 3 Seconds! Yaga has two reactions per round. Cursed Corpse Creator. Yaga can make cursed corpses in size from tiny to large. Soul Imbuement. Yaga gains the Soul Imbuement modification. When he uses this modification on a core, it takes 3 long rests where he has to imbue someone's soul information into the core. To be able to do this he must have the person readily available or have a good memory of the person in order to turn their physical information into soul information. Once a corpse has been created in this way it must take 2 weeks to develop before it becomes sentient. After the 2 weeks, it gains 1 level in the jujutsu sorcerer class and can progress as if it were a player. A corpse with this core is sentient and mimics the behaviour of the soul they are imbued with, but it does not gain its memories. Efficient Creation. When making cursed corpses, the prices of the cores, materials, and body cost half as much. In addition, it takes ⅓ less time to create an artificial body. Abrupt-Mutation Cursed Corpse Yaga gains the Abrupt-Mutation Cursed Corpse modification. It follows the same rules as making a soul-imbued core, but he must repeat the process 3 times for each core. After the cores have been imbued, the corpse must take 3 months to become sentient. Afterward, it gains 1 level in the jujutsu sorcerer class and can progress as if it were a player. Each of the 3 cores can have 1 animal modification imbued into it as well. Favorite Creation. Yaga can pick one cursed corpse that he has created to become his favorite. This favorite corpse gains the following benefits:
Perfect Creations When Yaga is making an Abrupt-Mutation Cursed Corpse or a soul-imbued corpse. He can add cursed energy to the cores in order to reduce the time it takes for them to gain sentience. If he imbues it with half of the core’s maximum energy it will reduce the time by half and if he imbues it with the maximum amount it will reduce the time by ¾. ACTIONSMultiattack. Yaga makes three attacks. Unarmed Strikes. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning and 6 (1d12) necrotic damage. Exorcise. Yaga can automatically destroy a cursed spirit within 30 feet of himself with a CR of 3 or lower that he can see. Cursed Energy Imbuement. Yaga can imbue any amount of cursed energy into a corpse as an action up to its maximum capacity. BONUS ACTIONSCursed Blast of Blows (3 Cursed Energy). Immediately after taking the attack action, Yaga can make two unarmed strikes or weapon attacks. Cursed Patient Defense (3 Cursed Energy). Yaga can take the dodge action as a bonus action on his turn. Cursed Wind Step (3 Cursed Energy). Yaga can take the dash or disengage action as a bonus action on his turn. Cursed Energy Tracker. Yaga can focus on one creature for 1 minute, seeing the “sparks” of cursed energy that always happen before cursed technique usage. For that minute when that creature forces Yaga to make a save using their cursed technique or makes a cursed energy attack roll against him using their cursed technique they must roll Stealth, using Charisma instead of Dexterity, against Yaga's Perception. If Yaga wins he gets advantage on the saving throw, or the attack roll is made with disadvantage.
