Cursed Corpse Creation (Jujutsu Kaisen Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Cursed Corpse[edit]
While most Cursed Corpses are created due to a cursed spirit possessing an inanimate object, some sorcerers learn how to make artificial cursed corpses to aid them in battle.
Controlling Corpses[edit]
To control a cursed corpse you must use a bonus action to give it a simple command. The cursed corpse will follow this command until it has been completed or it receives another command. You may control a number of cursed corpse within 30ft of you equal to half your Proficiency bonus (rounded down) with this bonus action.
Creating Corpses[edit]
Creating cursed corpses is a very hard task, with you having to build a complex mechanism for them to follow predetermined commands.
- Cursed Core
The first thing you need is a cursed core, which varies in size and cursed energy amount. You can find them in jujutsu schools or the black market for gp.
You can see the price of each cursed core below:
Cursed Core Size | Cost in gp | Maximum Amount of Cursed Energy Imbued |
---|---|---|
Tiny Core | 50 gp | 10 |
Small Core | 300 gp | 50 |
Medium Core | 1000 gp | 100 |
Large Core | 2500 gp | 250 |
Huge Core | 5000 gp | 500 |
Gartgantuan Core | 10000 gp | 1000 |
- Imbuing With Energy
The second thing you need is to imbue the core with cursed energy, as this is what will allow your cursed corpse to come to life. You can grab a core and start imbuing cursed energy into it as an action. You can grant it any amount of your cursed energy, however as shown in the table above it has a maximum amount it can sustain. This cursed energy cannot be regained by the corpse. If the corpse uses cursed energy it comes from this pool and must be recharged by you. As an action, you can touch the corpse and grant the cursed corpse any amount of your cursed energy, but it cannot go above the maximum amount. If the cursed corpse runs out of energy it is not able to function, until it is recharged.
- Artificial Body
The third thing you need is a body, made out of many types of Materials you buy or find along the way. The amount of materials and the quality that's needed for your cursed corpse is defined by its size. You can see the cursed corpse's sizes below:
Cursed Corpse Size | Cost in gp | Maximum Amount of Cores |
---|---|---|
Tiny Cursed Corpse | 100 gp worth of materials | 1 tiny core. |
Small Cursed Corpse | 200 gp worth of materials | 1 small core. |
Medium Cursed Corpse | 500 gp worth of materials | 1 medium core. |
Large Cursed Corpse | 1000 gp worth of materials | 1 large core. |
Huge Cursed Corpse | 5000 gp worth of materials | 1 huge core. |
Gargantuan Cursed Corpse | 10000 gp worth of materials | 1 gargantuan core. |
If you have the Cursed Corpse Creator cursed feat, you can build cursed corpses up to small size. If you have the Cursed Corpse Expert sorcerer path, you can build cursed corpses up to large size. If you have the Puppet Manipulation cursed technique, you can build cursed corpses up to gargantuan size.
Creating a cursed corpse takes time, lots of time. It's full of complicated mechanisms and ideas. You must spend a amount of time depending on the size of the cursed corpse, as defined below:
Cursed Corpse Size | Time Needed |
---|---|
Tiny Cursed Corpse | 3 minutes |
Small Cursed Corpse | 30 minutes |
Medium Cursed Corpse | 3 hours |
Large Cursed Corpse | 12 hours |
Huge Cursed Corpse | 24 hours |
Gargantuan Cursed Corpse | 72 hours |

Modification[edit]
Here is the list of the materials and what type of modifications you can make with them.
Gathering Materials[edit]
Here is the list of the types of materials that you can use for cursed corpses:
- Grade 4 Materials
Internal Structure. These are used for the internal structure of the corpse. This is normally made of metal and takes the form of a skeleton.

Electronics. These are used for all the technological upgrades.
Internal Fluids. This is either artificial blood or oil that is used to circulate cursed energy through the corpse.
- Grade 3 Materials
Internal Structure. You may add one more hit die with the Hit Die Upgrade.
Outer Layer. When used in a Movement Modification it grants an additional 5ft of movement speed and when used in an Appendage Modification it grants a +1 to hit for attacks using the appendage. In addition, it grants a +1 to the damage reduction with the damage reduction upgrade.

Buying Materials[edit]
Materials can be found or bought when you are making your cursed corpse. If you are buying them here is the table for how much they would cost according to the size of the corpse:
Cursed Corpse Size | Cost |
---|---|
Tiny Cursed Corpse | 25 gp |
Small Cursed Corpse | 50 gp |
Medium Cursed Corpse | 100 gp |
Large Cursed Corpse | 200 gp |
Huge Cursed Corpse | 400 gp |
Gargantuan Cursed Corpse | 800 gp |
You can also buy materials of a higher grade as well. Each grade gets more expensive than the last. You also need all the materials for a modification to be the same grade in order to get the benefits.
Material Grade | Cost Multiplier |
---|---|
Grade 4 | Base Cost |
Grade 3 | Cost times 2 |
Grade 2 | Cost times 3 |
Grade 1 | Cost times 4 |
Special Grade | Cost times 5 |
Modifications[edit]
Here are the types of modifications you can put on your cursed corpse. When you make a cursed corpse you are able to get a few modifications for free as part of building the corpse. You get 1 movement modification that is not thrusters, two simple hand appendages, and a level one sensor system for free. These modifications do not count toward the total count of modifications on the corpse. If you decide to upgrade these modifications, they will then count towards the total. You can also use higher grade materials in their creation. If you choose to do this then add the cost of the materials to the total cost of the body.
