Malice (Shinobi World Supplement)
Malice[edit]
Medium humanoid (Guren), lawful neutral Armor Class 19 (Natural Armor)
Saving Throws Str +6, Wis +7 Chakra. Malice has 41 chakra points which she can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest. Ninja Speed. Malice can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces. Evasion. When Malice is targeted by an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take half damage on a success, she takes no damage on a success and half damage on a failure. Puppet Master. Malice is in possession of five puppets resembling the Five Kage. ACTIONSMultiattack. Malice makes 3 attacks with her unarmed strike or kunai attacks. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (4d4 + 3) magical bludgeoning damage. Kunai (0-3 Chakra). Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) slashing damage. Malice may make 1 additional attack for every additional chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) slashing damage. Basic Ninjutsu Technique (1 Chakra). As a bonus action, Malice can move across liquid surfaces as if they were solid. If she is submerged, she rises to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Transformation (1+ Chakra). Malice becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object she has a complete visual image of. This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle, and she can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 17 Investigation check realize that she is transformed. If the creature saw her performing this jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics. Body Flicker (3 Chakra). Malice's movement speed doubles and her movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity until the end of her turn. Sealing Seal (5+ Chakra). Malice creates a sealing seal on one surface she can touch. Chakra Draining Seal (5 Chakra). One Sealing Seal Malice creates causes a creature affected by it to lose 2 (1d4) chakra points at the end of each of their turns. Healing Jutsu (1-28 Chakra). One creature Malice can touch regains a number of hit points equal to the amount of chakra spent. Chakra Control. As a bonus action, Malice reduces her next jutsu's cost by 5. She may do this 3 times, regaining all uses at the end of a short rest. Chakra Threads (2 Chakra). Malice creates chakra threads that have 2 hit points and immunity to all damage except magical slashing. When she takes the Attack action, she can replace an attack with a grapple check against a Large or smaller creature within 80 feet. If Malice loses concentration, this effect ends. Control Puppet. As an action or bonus action while Chakra Threads is active, Malice controls up to 2 puppets within 75 feet. While controlling her puppet(s), she can choose whether she or one puppet takes her action, bonus action, and/or reaction, and both she and her puppet can take their movement. If a puppet leaves the range of her movement speed, she loses control of it. If she can make more than 1 attack when she takes the Attack action, she may make an attack with multiple puppets or multiple attacks with a single puppet. Red Secret Technique: Dance of a Hundred Puppets (3+ Chakra). This can be done at will at the beginning of each of Malice's turns. For every 3 chakra spent, Malice can control 1 additional puppet until the beginning of her next turn. Ultra-Fast Regeneration (1-19 Chakra). As a bonus action, one puppet Malice is controlling regains twice as many hit points as chakra points spent. Crimson Fruit (5 Chakra). Malice creates a 15 ft. radius dome of crystals anywhere within 60 ft. of her that lasts for 1 minute or until it is reduced to 0 hit points. Each wall has 20 AC and 25 hit points. Jade Crystal Labyrinth (5+ Chakra). When Malice uses Crimson Fruit, the Crimson Fruit's range is doubled and it gains 25 additional hit points for every 5 chakra spent, but it no longer counts as a Crimson Fruit for the sake of any other jutsu. String of Glory (20 Chakra). Malice's movement speed becomes 0, and she gains a flying speed of 5 feet, 35 temporary hit points, and a +3 bonus to her AC for 1 minute. While this is active, she may make a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet, dealing 15 (4d6 + 3) force damage on a hit. REACTIONSSubstitution (3+ Chakra). When Malice is hit by an attack and would take damage, she decreases the damage by 24 (1d10 + 19) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which she takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in her place and she takes any remaining damage from that attack. Malice can reduce this damage by an additional 6 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
Malice is a legendary kunoichi from the Rinha clan, and the strongest ninja her clan has ever created. During the Shinobi World War era, the Rinha clan was targeted for their medical ninjutsu; if they wouldn't join the invading nation, they would be killed by them. Among those killed during the Third Shinobi World War was her husband. Without time to mourn, a deadly plague swept across the continent. Of those affected, only one person had innate immunity: her own son Yuto. Under direct orders from a Five Kage Summit, he was taken and used to develop a cure, at the cost of his life. While she acted as her village's leader for a time, she disappeared shortly after. Years later, using her myriad of unique abilities, she kidnapped Tsunade, A, Mei Terumi, Gaara, and Onoki, leaving disguised puppets in their place. It was only Naruto and his newfound status as a hero that this treachery was discovered, traveling across the Five Great Nations and destroying each puppet one-by-one. While Naruto was able to come face-to-face with her, and even free the Five Kage, he was too late. Having stolen chakra from the Five Kage, she was able to resurrect Yuto, however, her method was incomplete, turning him into a giant monster. After Naruto returned Yuto to the afterlife, Malice chose to stay within her collapsing base, hoping to join the rest of her family. |
