"The Knight Does Not Die With Empty Hands" were the words of Bladesinger Lancelot, this is a spell that is the embodiment of the incident in which he was forced to fight his squad unarmed and proved his fighting prowess by claiming victory with a stick of elm.
This spell enables mastery even with the most challenging weapons. By touching an improvised weapon or a non-magical weapon not held by another creature or thrown in your direction, you can spend your reaction to claim it for yourself. During the spell's duration, you become proficient in using that weapon. Additionally, when attacking with it, you can use your spellcasting modifier (Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma) instead of Strength or Dexterity for attack and damage rolls. If the weapon has specific usage conditions, you must still adhere to them. If the weapon is a thrown weapon or was thrown by you, the effect persists until someone other than you retrieves it. However, if someone disarms you and takes the weapon or steals it from you, the spell's effect ends.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 4th-level spell slot, you gain the ability to wield common magical weapons with mastery, and if they require attunement, you are considered attuned to them for the duration of the spell. When the effect ends, if the weapon requires attunement, you cannot use this spell on the same weapon or attune to it for the next 24 hours. If the weapon has a personality and does not wish to be used by you, it can make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC; if it succeeds, the spell has no effect, and it becomes immune to it for the next 24 hours. When you cast this spell using a 5th-level spell slot, the magical weapon can be uncommon; with a 6th-level spell slot, the magical weapon can be rare; with a 7th-level spell slot, the magical weapon can be very rare; with an 8th-level spell slot, the magical weapon can be legendary; with a 9th-level spell slot, the magical weapon can be an artifact.
