You gain the service of an owl familiar. It is adorned in a golden armor and attached to its wings are long banners containing the runes needed for a spell. This familiar is the preferred familiar of Azorius lawmages and is always at the side of any enforcer or writer of the law.
The judge's familiar appears in an unoccupied space within range and has the statistics of an owl. It abides by the same rules as if you cast the find familiar spell. Additionally, whenever a creature casts a spell that would affect you, you can use your reaction to dismiss the judge's familiar, and if you do, the spell fails and has no effect if it is 3rd level or lower (as if you cast the counterspell spell). If the spell is 4th level or higher, the spell fails and has no effect unless the caster spends one spell slot to prevent the spell from failing. If you choose to dismiss the judge's familiar this way, it cannot reappear for 1d4 days.
This spell cannot be cast unless you are of a lawful alignment.
