Hollow Reiryoku. The hollow has 20 Rieryoku which it can expend. All Reiryoku is regained at the end of a long rest.

Soul. The hollow can only be seen, heard, smelled, touched, sensed, or interacted with by creatures with this feature or objects made of Reishi, though it can interact with creatures made of Kishi normally.

Reiatsu. The hollow spend 1 Reiryoku at the beginning of its turn to release its Reiatsu until the beginning of its next turn, learning the direction from it of each creature within 30 feet and each of their proficiency bonuses. If a detected creature's proficiency bonus is 3 or lower, they take 20 bludgeoning damage.

Endurance. When the hollow is targeted by an area effect that lets it make a Constitution saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails the save.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The hollow makes two unarmed strike attacks.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 29 (1d8 + 25) bludgeoning damage.

Cero (4 Reiryoku). One creature within 30 ft. of the hollow must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 29 (1d8 + 25) force damage. On a success, they take half as much damage.

Negación (5-10 Reiryoku). At the beginning of the hollow's next turn, if it maintains concentration, it teleports to one location is has previously been to. The hollow may spend 5 additional Reiryoku to force any creatures in a 20 ft. line to succeed on a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or be teleported along with it. If it would arrive in a place already occupied by an object or a creature, it and any creatures or objects traveling with it are shunted to the closest unoccupied space.

Regüeldo (10 Reiryoku). Every creature in a 30 ft. cone must make a DC 19 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 29 (1d8 + 25) necrotic damage. On a success, they take half as much damage. Additionally, any ongoing effects that are not part of a feature of the target it is affecting in the area immediately end.

Spawn Gillian (10 Reiryoku). The hooleer creates a gillian anywhere within 5 feet of it.

BONUS ACTIONS

Regeneration (1 Reiryoku). The hollow or one of its body parts regains 17 hit points. This can restore hit points to a body part's higher tiers.

REACTIONS

Hollow Hunger. When the hollow kills a creature that would not be affected by its Reiatsu, it may consume their soul, regaining Reiryoku equal to half the creature's proficiency bonus and causing them to be unable to be resurrected by any means.

While Menos Grande beyond the class of gillian, as rare as they are, typically become adjuchas, it is not the only direction of evolution for a Menos. Very rarely, typically once per thousand years without outside interference, a large number of gillians will cannibalize themselves, creating a mass of souls known as a hooleer. As mindless as its constituents and much larger, hooleer often act as a means of transportation for gillians, and can even spit them from its mouth.
