Weapon (Katana), legendary (requires attunement by a creature with a Dexterity score of 16 or higher) This katana grows in power with you. It has the Finesse property while attuned to it. You gain a +1 bonus to attacks and damage rolls made with this weapon. When you reach 7th level, this bonus increases to +2. At 15th level, it increases to +3. Blood Weapon. The Hand of Malenia has a Bleed Buildup of 40. (See Bleed (5e Variant Rule).) Ash of War: Waterfowl Dance. As a bonus action, you unleash an onslaught of attacks. Each creature of your choice within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8 + twice your proficiency bonus), taking a number of d10s of slashing damage equal to your proficiency bonus and a Bleed Buildup of 60 on a failed save, or half as much damage and Bleed Buildup on a successful one. After this, you can use your action to repeat it, with the radius increased to 20 feet and the damage increased to d12s. Once you've used this ash of war once, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. |
