Prerequisite: A friend.
Choose another player character, or an NPC, once designated that creature will be your combo partner. Both of you will pick between being either the Hunter or the Chef. If the other creature is a Gourmet Hunter, either of you can be the hunter, however, if there is only one Gourmet Hunter between the two, the other must be the Chef. You can only pick one combo partner period, if either member of the combo dies, both will lose access to the benefits this feat provides pertaining to their partner. You cannot choose another partner when a combo is formed and if a combo partner who had previously died is revived, both creatures regain access to their lost features.
The Hunter will gain the following benefits:
- The Hunter will gain an additional 5 Appetite Energy whenever they consume a snack created by their Chef.
- You learn 1 additional Technique of your choice that does not count against your Techniques known. If the creature selected as the Hunter does not have Appetite Energy or a Ki-like resource, they make use this technique once per long rest.
- Whenever your Chef uses the Itadakimasu feature to cook a meal and you are one of the designated creatures, in addition to the bonuses, granted, you can also make a Constitution saving throw against your own Gourmet Hunter DC. On a success, choose one attribute score between Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution and temporarily increase it by +2 allowing you to can exceed the ability score maximum for 4d10 Hours. Once both members of the Combo are at least 10th level, increase the bonus granted to a single attribute score to +4 instead of +2. And finally, once both members of the Combo are 20th level, further increase it to a +6 instead of +4.
The Chef will gain the following benefits:
- Gain access to the Stock Up, and Itadakimasu features of the Gourmet Hunter. The features will function based on the creature's maximum level, or the Gourmet Hunter they formed a combo with's level if they do not have levels themselves. Unless otherwise specified any upgrades to the features will be gained as normal. At 9th level, you gain access to the Gusto feature and at 14th level, you also gain access to the Secret Ingredient feature.

If the Chef is a Gourmet Hunter, they instead gain expertise with Cook's Utensils from this feat, instead of at 13th level from Stock up.
- When your combo partner eats one of your snacks they may consume more than one following the same rules if they still had access to the Gusto feature. - Whenever you roll a 1 on any saving throw, attack roll, or ability check, you instead treat it as a natural 20. You can only use this once per long rest.
- Whenever you are pursuing a rare ingredient, (At GM's discretion) lower the required DC to search or find it by 5. For example, a Gourmet Hunter can attempt to mimic The Monkey King's Arang technique and add it to their own technique list with the appropriate Appetite Energy cost (decided by the GM or by using the conversion rule of 10 Appetite Energy for 1 KI point). A gourmet Hunter would be unable to mimic or learn a technique/feature such as poison secretion from Gourmet Hunter without the associated feat or feature, the Instant Transmission technique from Ki Fighter, 2nd variant, or Ripple Cutter from Hamon/Ripple User. You can only learn a maximum of techniques learned in this fashion equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down), and once learned, the technique will be added to your list of known techniques and can be replaced, but when replaced, the old technique must be re-learned through the same process.
