Goblin, Mechabutzian[edit]

Mechabutzian Goblin

Goblins are a hardy and entrepreneurial lot. They are typically found all over Mechabutzia, but especially within the maintenance tunnels. They are known for their ability to scavenge and resist the severe conditions of Mechabutzia.

Physical Description[edit]

The goblins' clothing, weaponry, and other apparel is all scavenged from Mechabutzia, and often fashioned from the plant life there. Their fiery red hair is made of fibrous sticky strings. Goblins have bushy eyebrows that flare out and up, and their mouths have small tusks. Often a goblin wears a chemical mask to protect them from fumes or fire.

Goblins are small, but very strong. Some have four fingers on each hand, while others have three. The "thumb" on the goblins' hands is very long and opposable.

Goblin Culture and Economy[edit]

Goblins primarily live in the maintenance tunnels and their economy is based on the construction, reconstruction and maintenance of these tunnels. They are also known for their ability to scavenge. The Gummabusts admire their ability to extract things from mere metal and wire.

Goblites[edit]

Goblites

While the goblins do have a complex, and advanced, culture, they have fears and superstitions. They consider some corners of Mechabutzia, in their very own maintenance tunnels, to be cursed. They vent off this section, and treat it like a leper colony, and the goblins that live there are called the Goblites.

Goblin Language[edit]

Goblins do not speak their own language. They speak Common, with their own accent. Their accent is distinguishible in their short vowels with an intrusive "o" sound, and their multiple consonants.

Goblin Names[edit]

Goblins choose their own names from a large collection, partially based on the Mechanichal Engineering Manual v. 6c, and partially related to their position within the tunnels.

Goblin Names: UgOB, DepGusO, VanDica, OzltoO, AkovOti, Wogus, GimDOff
