Long ago, when Moryo first came to Earth, he raised an army of moving statues to serve him. While the Ghost Army was impenetrable to conventional attacks, the shinobi's mastery of the elements were not expected by the demon. When Moryo was sealed, its soul separated from its body, the Ghost Army was buried with its soul. Each time an attempt was made to resurrect Moryo, the Ghost Army was raised, and every time it was resealed, such as by Miroku or Shion, the Ghost Army was laid to rest along with it. |
