Alternatively, over three days with the assistance of at least 9 CR 10 or greater humanoids, the Gedo Mazo is able to extract and absorb 1 Tailed Beast from its jinchuriki, or absorb 1 free Tailed Beast. After absorbing all 9 Tailed Beasts, it becomes the Ten-Tails. Transformation (1 Chakra). the Gedo Mazo becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object he a complete visual image of. This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle and, and he can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 16 Investigation check to realize that he is transformed. If the creature saw him performing the Jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics, save for granting the creature's swimming and flying speeds. Body Flicker (2 Chakra). A generic object is left in his place and he takes any remaining damage from that attack. The Gedo Mazo can add reduce this damage by an additional 5 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
Also known as the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, or more commonly the Gedo Statue, the Gedo Mazo is the husk of the Ten-Tails, from which all Tailed Beasts were sourced. Sealed on the moon shortly after its creation by Hamura Otsutsuki, it was eventually summoned back to earth by Madara Uchiha, and was later controlled by Nagato and Obito before being resurrected as the Ten-Tails before being sealed away in another dimension permanently. |
