This spell allows the caster to temporarily access the core abilities of a class other than his own, up to three levels below his current level. However, he cannot assimilate magical abilities related to Spellcasting or Pact Magic. When using these abilities, the caster must abide by the limitations inherent to the assimilated class, such as the amount of resources available or the requirements of the characteristics. If the spell is interrupted, dissolved, or the duration runs out, the caster gains two levels of Exhaustion, cannot cast "Somnium Versatilis" again for the next 7 days, and is incapacitated for 1 minute. The class selected must be based on previous observation or personal knowledge of the caster regarding the class. Few know the origin of this spell, except that it was designed by someone obsessed with transcending the boundaries imposed by traditional roles. Its creator intentionally left his imprints on the arcane fabric for other geniuses to perfect.
At Higher Levels. Level 5: Can assimilate a foreign class up to 2 levels lower than his own. Level 7: Can assimilate a foreign class up to 1 level lower than his own. Level 9: Gains the foreign class's abilities at the same level as his own caster level.
