Target creature must make a Constitution save against the primary casters spell save DC (a creature can choose to fail). If the save succeeded the duration of the spell is halved. The creature is fully aware of all effects of this spell when targeted. Every hour of the spells duration except for at night the target must choose a creature other than the casters of this spell and up to three other creatures that the primary caster named during the casting of the spell. A creature that the target chooses takes 8d6 necrotic damage during the night. If the target of this spell does not choose a creature it takes the damage itself when the hour has passed.
Undead and constructs are immune to this spell.
At Higher Levels/With More Casters. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 11th level or higher or has 6 secondary casters or more the damage of the spell increases by 4d6 and the duration of the spell increases by 1/2 year for each slot level above 10th or each 5 secondary casters above 1.
