Coin Shot
Transmutation cantrip
Casting time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M (a coin, which the spell consumes)
Duration: Instantaneous

You launch a coin at a creature or object with enough speed to destroy the currency and use its monetary sacrifice to bestow a brief curse. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes Force damage based on the value of the coin consumed by the spell. 1d4 for a copper, 1d6 for a silver, 1d8 for an electrum, 1d10 for a gold, or 1d12 for a platinum. Subtract the same die from the next ability check, attack roll, or saving throw the target makes before the start of your next turn if the attack is successful.

Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases by 1 damage die when you reach levels 5 (2d4, 2d6, 2d8, 2d10, or 2d12), 11 (3d4, 3d6, 3d8, 3d10, or 3d12), and 17 (4d4, 4d6, 4d8, 4d10, or 4d12). The subtraction die does not increase.
