Bubble Blast (5e Spell)

From D&D Wiki

Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: A cantrip should not deal 2d6 damage by default. This is essentially a cantrip version of the 1st-level spell burning hands that deals 1d6 less damage. 18:23, 26 June 2024 (MDT)

Bubble Blast
Evocation cantrip
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Self (15-foot cone)
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous

You shoot bubbles out of your mouth. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 2d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

This spell's damage increases by 1d6 at 5th level (3d6), 11th level (4d6), and 17th level (5d6). Additionally, at 17th level if a creature other than the caster moves through the area the cone covered during the next minute must make a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
