Mostly used as toys and training implements for children in the Hidden Sand Village training to become Puppetmasters, bamboo snakes hardly even count as combat puppets. Instead, what few have been used in shinobi work are typically used for assassinations, being small enough to sneak through guarded areas undetected and administer deadly poisons with their bite or retrieve small items through small openings.
