Casting time: | 1 hour |
---|---|
Range: | Touch |
Components: | V, S, M (an amethyst worth at least 100 gp containing the soul of a humanoid, which the spell consumes) |
Duration: | Instantaneous |
You perform some very visceral surgery on a Medium or smaller undead to spontaneously generate a new soul within it. The creature must have an Intelligence score of 6 or less, or no Intelligence score. It gains an Intelligence score of 10 and learns one language that you know. Its Wisdom and Charisma scores also increase to 10 if they are not already 10 or higher. The DM chooses statistics appropriate for the awakened undead, such as the statistics for a skeleton or zombie, except with changes as previously noted.
The awakened creature is charmed by you for 1 week, or until you or your companions do anything harmful to it. When the charmed condition ends, the awakened creature chooses whether or not to remain friendly to you, depending how it was treated while it was charmed.
