Atakast's Existential Cure-All (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
5th-level Illusion | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | Touch |
Components: | a mirror, a set of perfectly balanced scales |
Duration: | 6 hours |
A willing creature you touch gains complete understanding of themselves. They are aware of their character traits, flaws, bonds, etc as well as any curse, boon, poison, or other modification to their being. On a fundamental level they understand themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually for the duration. However, despite the name, this spell does not cure or end any effect on a person. Rather, for the duration, they simply become aware of the effect. For example, a character suffering from amnesia will not regain their memories, but will become aware of the fact that they have forgotten and, in some cases, the reason why they have forgotten. In some cases, of course, this is up to the DM’s discretion. In the amnesia example, the dm may have the character make an intelligence saving throw and, on a success, allow the character to remember one or two memories or pieces of information.
