A runic bolt channelling simple but powerful magic to deal damage, and one that can weave together with other rune spells for increased damage. The rune spells are arcana rune, chill rune, earth rune, smite rune, and storm rune.

Make a ranged spell attack roll against a creature or object within range. On a hit, you deal 1d8 fire or radiant damage. If you cast a different rune spell on your next turn, it deals 1d12 damage and you can select a damage type from either cantrip choice.

This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8), or by 1d12 if you cast it after another rune spell.
