From D&D Wiki
5th-level Evocation | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | Self (30-foot Radius) |
Components: | S, M (A pile of rose seeds and a poison bottle) |
Duration: | Up to 1 minute |
A fistful of seeds is thrown into the dirt and quickly emerge, harming all those within the newly emerged greenery. As an action, you may cast this spell, causing the terrain within a 30 ft. radius of you to be covered in thorny vines and roses, making the surrounding area become difficult terrain. In addition, roses arise from the vines, forcing those who use more than 10 feet of their movement speed within this area to make a Constitution saving throw, taking 3d6 poison damage on failure or half as much on success.
On a bonus action, you may choose to cause the roses to bloom, destroying the vineyard on your next turn, but causing a poisonous mist to emerge within the vineyard, forcing all creatures who breathe the mist within the vineyard to make a Constitution saving throw. On a success, the creature remains unharmed, but on a failure the creature takes 6d6 poison damage and gains the poisoned condition for 1d4+1 rounds. In addition, you may end this spell's effects as a bonus action.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the vineyard's range increases by 10 ft. for every spell slot above 5th.
