Source A gimos usually appears as a stone statue depicting a demonic humanoid figure wielding a trident. It is a known denizen of the Dark World. One often parallels a corresponding armos of the Light World, connecting the two creatures in a mysterious way. A typical gimos guards a location or object endlessly, whether it be an unholy temple of the Dark World or an ancient and powerful relic. A gimos normally remains immobile and dormant over whatever structure or object it dutifully guards, and only activates when a living creature wanders nearby. Then the gimos springs to life, scurrying towards the invader with murderous intent. Although the gimos may give chase, it is reluctantly to leave that which it guards. Constructed Nature. A gimos doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep. |
