You fire a small, but concentrated electric current from your hand to zap a creature or object in range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target, dealing 3d8 lightning damage on a hit.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd or higher, increase the damage by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.
