Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Armor Class in 5e is usually at least 10 making this spell (vs unknowing creatures) much less useful.

Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: The shape should likely not be a cube or cylinder; cone or sphere seems the most likely. Having no defined shape is weird spell design. The advantage clauses are very confusing. Why the functional difference between unknowing vs knowing? This is essentially the second benefit of Polearm Master for a short duration, except it goes away if you move or attack.

Whistling Wind
Abjuration cantrip
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Special
Components: S, M (any melee weapon)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

You prepare your weapon to attack and enter a countering stance. A field is set in any shape you want around yourself equal to your reach with the melee weapon.

If a creature unknowingly or unwillingly moves into your reach, they provoke an opportunity attack from you unless their AC is higher than your level, then you just have advantage.

If a creature knowingly moves into your reach, they provoke an opportunity attack from you. You have advantage on this attack and this cannot be reacted to unless they have a Perception.

An attack you make while maintaining concentration has a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls, and you score critical hits with an attack roll of 19 or 20.

Moving, being moved or making an attack causes the spell to end.

This spell increases your critical hit range with the weapon by 1 when you reach 5th level (18-20), 11th level (17-20), and 17th level (16-20).
