Wave of Time (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
7th-level Transmutation | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | 120 feet |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
Waves of temporal energy erupt from an area within range, slowing creatures down or even more if closer to the center. Each creature in a 20-foot radius must make a Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is affected by the tides depending on how close they are to the center of the spell radius (see below). At the end of each turn, a creature can make an Intelligence saving throw to be unaffected by the spell. On a save, or when the spell ends, the creature cannot be affected by the spell for the next 24 hours.
Effectiveness:
30ft: Speed is reduced by 10ft and the creature may take an action or bonus action, but not both.
15ft: Speed is reduced by 15ft and the creature may take an action or bonus action, but not both. They also have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws.
5ft: Speed is reduced by 20ft and cannot take actions or reactions, only bonus actions. They also have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws.
