Water Cannon (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Water CannonMedium object A water cannon shoots a pressurized, high-velocity stream of water, at a rapid rate of 5 or more gallons per second. It is intended to disperse rioters and violent protesters with nonlethal force. It is often remotely operated from inside a vehicle by use of a joystick. Water cannons are typically attached to a large reservoir; once the reservoir is emptied, the tank must be refilled, or it must be swapped out for a full one, which takes one minute. With some ingenuity, an individual can easily turn a water cannon into a more dangerous weapon, usually by swapping out the liquid load for a more damaging substance, such as liquid tear gas or corrosive acids. Before it can be fired, the cannon must be loaded. It takes one action to load the cannon with 80 shots, and one action to fire the cannon. Cannon. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 60/120 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d10) aqueous bludgeoning damage. If the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and pushed 30 feet away. Cannon Spray. The cannon barrages a 10-foot-cube area within 30 feet. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 5 (1d10) aqueous bludgeoning damage. If the creature is Large or smaller, it must succeed a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and pushed 30 feet away. This consumes 10 shots. |
