Vren Drux (Valgora Supplement)

Vren Drux is an oddity of all sorts. Visitors can travel through the largest towns of the country at high noon and meet barely a handful of residents.
The fronts of the sea actually give Vren Drux an unusually cool temperature for its location in the world. Winds circle the globe from Blüdfrost and cool the coastal regions, though they are still moderate, just much cooler than other southern counterparts.
History of Vren Drux
The country that is now Vren Drux began its life as the loose tribal coalition of Crokia around the year 7423 DY. A modest region surviving off of about equal farming and fishing enterprises.
Sometime around the year of 7920 DY, a horrible storm season assaulted the small regional country. Hurricanes pounded the coast for months straight while the more inland area of the country was attacked by tornado and sandstorms. Shortly thereafter, while the shell shocked inhabitants began to regroup, they noticed that the coastal region had a lingering myst. Assuming this came just from the odd season of weather, this was largely ignored.
The country found itself in dire straights, but found a savior amongst themselves. A man named Duncan Von Trisk began pouring money into the rebuilding process. However, he rebuilt according to his own plans. Residents noticed that he demanded smaller windows in buildings, cellars, and more interconnected underground passageways amongst the cities. Thinking he was just an odd eccentric millionaire, they gladly did this and thanked him for his generosity.
His assistance sparked his fame and he was easily elected into the country's head position of Duke the following election cycle. Immediately, however, his persona changed. He renamed the small country to it's current state and drastically cut down on inter-state travel.
This is the last of the most up to date information available throughout the land.
The capital is the small restricted area known as Triskvania. Only government workers with high enough security clearances are allowed inside. The common workday for a Vren Druxian doesn't begin until Sundown, and ends near Sunrise. The reason for this is unknown, though much speculation exists.
The leader of the country, Count Duncan Von Trisk, is never seen at the senate, and is instead represented in senate dealings by John Harkinger, whose exact relationship with the count is unknown.
