Vaxasauranio

Physical Description

Vaxasaurians are very similar to dinosaurs. Their thick skin covered with scales, along with their large size and immense strength, resemble those beasts of the prehistoric era. However, these beings have a more humanoid form. Most are 3 meters tall; these would be the youngest specimens. The older a vaxasaurian is, the bigger it is. When they reach an advanced age, they have the size of a huge creature. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. Their physiology allows them to increase their size. They reach the next category, where their dinosaur features become much more noticeable. They grow stegosaurus plates on their backs, a crest on their foreheads, and spikes on their tails. Additionally, on their shoulders, three plates separate and grow, giving them a more ferocious appearance.

History

The vaxasaurian race was on the verge of extinction after a cosmic asteroid shower devastated their home planet, Terradino. But a certain galvan could not allow a species to become extinct, so with his great mind, he would give them a second chance. Having DNA samples from the vaxasaurians, the galvan decided to spread them throughout the universe in order to save them from extinction. One of those DNA samples was placed on Earth. That galvan was surprised at the great diversity that this world possessed. Undoubtedly, a place to study. The new vaxasaurians that will be born in this world will offer great learning through them. You will be able to see the greatness that this rock so full of life, called Earth, hides.

The vaxasaurians took their first steps in this world. That galvan chose the most suitable ecosystem for these new specimens to develop in a way most similar to how they did on their planet of origin. That place was called in the world as the wild land, a habitat that had vestiges of the prehistoric era. So, it could be said that this was a second home for the vaxasaurians. Unlike their primitive cousins, the vaxasaurians had greater intelligence. In their coexistence in the wild land, they formed their society. It was rigorous work due to how wild their home was, but they achieved their goal, becoming the alpha group of the wild, ruling their part of the wild.

After years, the vaxasaurians knew the world on the other side. Adventurers traveled to the wild land, and great was their surprise to see beasts similar to dinosaurs that saved them from being the dinner of hungry scavengers. And more when they could speak their language. The Galvan made sure that the common language was inscribed in their genetics in order to ensure understanding between other races. Surprise was for the world when these large reptiles traveled to their side of the world, with great curiosity to discover a new world, in their words. The vaxasaurians have been part of the full-fledged world, but the other races are still getting used to the large reptiles.

Society

The society of the vaxasaurians is governed in a savage way, due to their stay in the wild they got used to an experience where you must fight tooth and nail to survive, in short, they are not a society that has good manners, ah Yes, the larger someone has, it will define the respect of these large reptiles.

Vaxasaurian Traits

Prehistoric strength, stamina and size
Ability Score Increase. Strength score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Age. Vaxasaurians have a long lifespan, maturing around age 130 and living up to 3,000 years.
Alignment. Their somewhat wild behavior makes them somewhat chaotic, but they make attempts to be legal.
Size. A vaxasaurian can grow between 8 and 10 feet tall and weigh between 450 and 600 pounds. Your size is Large.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Dinosaur Skin. The strong scales of the Vaxasaurine offer great protection. While unarmored, your Armor Class is equal to 13 + your Constitution modifier. You may use a shield and still gain this benefit.
Prehistoric Force. The powerful physiology of the vaxasaurian formed by the qualities of different dinosaurs gave it great strength. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. Your unarmed strikes also deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier.
Jurassic Resilience. Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level. You also have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned.
Enlargement. Vaxasaurian can be made to grow to twice their size, making their Jurassic traits more noticeable. You size doubles in all dimensions, and your weight is multiplied by eight. This growth increases its size by one category — from Medium to Large, for example. You cannot use this trait in a space that is smaller than double your size. You can maintain this enlarged form for 1 minute, during which your unarmed strikes deal damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier. You can use this trait once, regaining use after you finish a short or long rest.
Unstoppable Charge. You can get into a running start position and let smoke out of your nose with a loud snort, moving like a rhinoceros forward. If you move at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hit it with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, the creature must make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus), or fall prone.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Racial Feats

Improved Enlargement

Prerequisite: Vaxasaurian
You bulk up when you enlarge yourself, making you harder to take down and making it easier to smack others down.

• Your Strength increases by 1.
• While using your Enlargement trait, you are resistant to slashing and piercing damage and gain a +2 bonus to your unarmed strikes.

Brutish Strength

Prerequisite: Vaxasaurian
Your great strength grants you the power to shrug off inconveniences.

• Your Strength increases by 1.
• When you roll a 1 on an attack roll using Strength, a Strength ability check, or Strength saving throw, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll.
