User talk:Sie Talpa de Redstoneville/Conqueratomurs (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Please help me, I was editing the trait section and it doesn't count more the categories
- The template fits only 10 traits for the main race. Sie Talpa de Redstoneville, this race is incredibly ridiculous and needs to be tamped down a bit or it will be deleted. I was told you want to fix this page. Addressing the balance tags placed on the race, first of all, you cannot simply balance over-the-top ASI with negative scores, as that is generally a "don't" for 5e races. Instead, cut down in the increases, limited to only two scores. For example, +2 Dexterity and +1 Strength.--Yanied (talk) 19:00, 18 June 2019 (MDT)
Composite Class?[edit]
Sie Talpa de Redstoneville, it has been almost two weeks, and this race is still extremely overpowered in comparison to other first-party races. Seeing how you want this race to be powerful, and that is it meant to be powerful, I have a suggestion that could satisfy your need for this to be powerful, and for the sake of balance; why not make this race a composite class? A composite class is a combination of race and class, and bestows racial traits along with progressively more powerful class features. This would allow you to, in the end, make a Conqueratomur that is sufficiently powerful for a class (but too powerful to be solely a race).
I don't know if I made any sense here but yeah, it's a suggestion that I think is really the only way to keep the Conqueratomur...

- I am not even sure that would be the best course. A solid rethink needs done in my opinion, with the 3 pillars being considered. ~ BigShotFancyMan 06:29, 1 July 2019 (MDT)
- I apologize for my briefness but Geodude seems to have mentioned the "OP" nature of this race a few times and there is still an issue here. I am afraid that attempting a composite class won't fix because there hasn't been a real showing of interest to balance this race. Redoing it from the ground up is my best solution but I am still skeptical and gonna go against assuming good faith that an attempt to redo it won't be done properly.
- If Cosmos were to redo it, or another user that has balanced things, then I'd welcome the idea of a composite class but in my opinion, there is a bigger, underlying issue here. ~ BigShotFancyMan 12:06, 1 July 2019 (MDT)
The time for deletion has come, but as you can see I've opted to simply "sandbox" this page by moving it to the primary contributor's userspace so that they can continue to work on it, and I've removed the deletion template and commented out the categories so that this page doesn't show up on any DPLs. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 16:07, 4 July 2019 (MDT)
