- Formatting
Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). Help:Portal also provides detailed explanation of information important specifically to this community.

Warning[edit]
I am officially warning you for repeated removal of maintenance templates from the page Jakello (5e Race), per the Help:Warning Policy. If you don't think the templates are valid, you can talk to the user that placed them, either on the discussion of the page in question or on the talk page of that user. However, repeatedly removing the templates without any attempt to fix the issues they raise or discuss the templates, as you have done, is not acceptable. Thank you for understanding. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 22:28, 14 January 2019 (MST)
- Please don't blank pages (ie removing all of their content). Blank pages can be harmful to the wiki because they can confuse other readers. If you don't think the templates are valid then please say so somewhere so we can have a discussion about it. I understand you may be frustrated, but please know that everyone is trying to be constructive. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 17:08, 15 January 2019 (MST)
- I was just removing it the best I know how cause it is still tagged after I did edits to fix the issues that were said originally and the tags that were added back said the same thing as before after I addressed the issues so I erased my useless work that's never going to be good enough —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Merkitty469 (talk • contribs) . - I can see where you tried to fix the page; however, the race still has a number of issues that need to be addressed. The page still needs a lot of improvement in the {{wording}} department: racial traits in 5th edition are written in the second person (you, your) and not the third person (they, their), except for the age and alignment sections, which are written in the third person; also, as the template says, there are still many spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation errors throughout the page, as well as fragmented sentences in a couple places. The "multiple arms" trait makes a Jakello character of any class able to deal too much damage compared to characters of other races, basically doubling damage output; also from that same trait, movement isn't a defined action in 5th edition; rather, you can split your movement up before and after your action and/or bonus action. Also from that same trait, small and medium characters have the same carrying capacity in 5th edition, even though that doesn't quite make sense.
- If you need help fixing the issues with the page, feel free to ask for it, either on the discord server, or you can ask any one of our helpers. :) — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 20:32, 15 January 2019 (MST)
