Ah!!!
Sorry about this but I seem to have left a trail of pages that I neither need nor can access whilst trying to move my deities from DnD other to DnD deities and finish them. Thought you might want to know as they are effectively dead weight.
Stubs
I chainsawed through the terminology stubs for you. Some of them did not need expanding (ability scores mainly) there just isn't a lot to write above and beyond the PHB definition.
Your question
I don't see why not but I don't fully understand what you want doing. So long as I get told exactly what needs doing I will be fine.
Helping out
Sure I'll help. I get off of work tonight at 8 (central time) after that I can hop on and do some helping!
A few issues
You are welcome for all the help. I'm a sysadmin for a living. This was trivial for me.
OGL
I added the OGL. I'm not a lawyer, but I used the best language that I could. I read a little about the license, too. I'll need to read more. It looks like the FreeDoc license trumps our need for the OGL, except where we republish or adapt OGL material (SRD, FAQ's, etc.). I'll try to get a clearer read on that when I'm awake.
If you place tags for a Links page and the SRD, I can populate both. If I suggest anything, feel free to bounce it back to me. Just tell me the best place to put stuff.
Locking SRD is GO
I've been protecting the pages as I go. Thanks for the tag. I'll add that into the pages.

SRD is NOT done
The SRD is not nearly done. Of the core books, I'm about halfway through, if that far. The next section that I tackle is spells. I will then move onto the remaining DMG items, of which Magic Items will take the longest. Finally, I've done nothing with the monsters. Following that, there's Epic, Psionics, and Divine sections to work through.
I figure that the SRD will take two to four more months to put in properly. I could slap it in much quicker, but I want to take full advantage of what a wiki can do, especially categorization and linking. Look at Demolisher (3.5e Prestige Class) to see what I mean.
Monsters and spells will get categorized in detail (through a Perl script), making research on categories like [Monster, Chaotic Evil], or [Monster, Aberration], very easy.

I'm Back
Sorry I have not been around, I temporary lost internet access, but that's over now. So what changes do have in Mind for the d20 Modern boards?
hey
did some fixing on my end, which sections should i get rid of? by the way i made a character sheet on Microsoft word and I'm wondering how to post with out messing up the spacing, maybe i could send it to you and you could see what you can do with it.
Um..
what subcategories do you mean?
and what i want to send you is a character sheet i made but cant seem to get to post right.
Alright
I will get to work on condensing the d20 modern categories and do you have a e-mail i can send the sheet to?
About the SRD
Spells were a huge amount of work. I do need to slow down a little to avoid RSI. Next is magic items or monsters. That will be the "main" SRD. I'll keep tweaking it to make it more useful. I have been aiming at the "most useful" stuff first. After that, there are the other SRD's (Psionics, epic, divine, etc).
I hope to be done the bulk entry for the "main" SRD in 2-3 weeks. The remaining bits will go in more slowly. The SRD only looks easy. It is actually a whole lot of tedious work and is slower going than it looks. With tax time and Easter coming up, I will have a little less time. The other SRD's will come along more slowly. Think "months."
Doing polish work to it, as in hyperlinking things together well, will take much longer. So, to that end, it will remain a work in progress. For example, the monsters listed in summon spells should link to their appropriate creature. Likewise, some sections could be broken apart more smartly for hyper-linking. I broke apart special materials today so that references to "adamantine" can point to the definition of SRD:Adamantine. --Dmilewski 21:38, 1 April 2006 (MST)
About the "Knowledge Arcana" Article
I'm following up on the newsletter suggestion. I'll take that on. I dropped an email over to the newsletter guy.
--Dmilewski 06:07, 4 April 2006 (MST)
Trademark Alert
Not to throw another thing on your plate, but I must point out the following from the OGL license.
The following items are designated Product Identity, as defined in Section 1(e) of the Open Game License Version 1.0a, and are subject to the conditions set forth in Section 7 of the OGL, and are not Open Content: Dungeons & Dragons, D&D ...
The logo for danddwiki and the top section ""Dungeons and Dragons" are both trademark problems. Fortunately, changing all the D&D's to DnD also cleaned up a trademark issue, and that one is not hanging over us. They don't mention DandD, so that should be safe to use. Dungeons and Dragons may be OK, as the trademarks uses the &. The logo clearly uses the ampersand.

Wuz up
I made some changes to the d20 Modern page, I hope this is what you had in mind. On another point should I make a MSRD project page (I'll od most of the grunt work on it though)?
About the d20.00 rules...
It's seeming like that I might need to split up that entire article into pieces soon. Do you mind if I do so? --Pz.Az.04Maus 20:06, 16 April 2006 (MST)
Update
The Knowledge Arcana article is going slow. We've had a few exchanges. Given my initial response, they are leaning towards a Q&A style article. The soonest publication that we are likely to see is several issues out, so we have a while to develop this. I'm here over the weekend, so I can watch the site. I should "finish" the SRD over the weekend. There will still be things to do (correct errors, improve linking, break down large pages, improve categories, etc), but the whole thing will be in. --Dmilewski 05:29, 21 April 2006 (MST)
You've got mail
I e-mail you yesterday, thought I'd leave a note here to make sure you checked it. Elliott Cable ‹talk› ‹contribs› 09:48, 24 April 2006 (MST)
- Er... I do not know much about "Archiving", and it's advantages, but I never got a email from you, and I do not know why you are archiving things. If you could please explain yourself I would be most grateful. Thanks, Green Dragon {at 15:11, 24 April 2006 (MST)}
- Archived because it was long, and those were all old conversations (which, for some odd reason, it seems your never replied to lol) Anyway, I e-mailed you at hgabert@xmission.com at April 23, 2006 10:33:57 PM AKDT, I am sure you got it. Please reply on there, as this isn't really a matter suitable for talk pages ()-: Elliott Cable ‹talk› ‹contribs› 15:16, 24 April 2006 (MST)

- Hmm, well I'm pretty pissed now. I spent about 2-3 days of work to get everything set up and running (as it is, minus some meory allocation error I need you or you're brother to fix) - then Blue Dragon notifies somebody that the merger is in no way happeneing right now. I was never told that you were having second thoughts; or I wouldn't have spent all that time combing through 85MBs of text and replacing UIDs and getting everything live on our server - to say the least, I am a tad bit angry. I'd like to speak with one or both of you in IRC...
- Well.... I will talk later today on IRC with you, the merger will most likely happen today or tommorow, I just want 2 things changed. Talk to you later on IRC. --Green Dragon 11:52, 17 May 2006 (MDT)

Sorry, I really need to get on IRC more, the problem is that I do not really know how to access the IRC client, I am not very computer savvy. Anyway, we really need to chat more... Just put this on my user page if that is where it is supposed to be :) Green Dragon 20:50, 18 May 2006 (MDT)
- I'll explain more to you when we can chat. If you want help, here's what I recommend - just get an IM account, like MSN or AIM or YIM or something - then login at http://www.meebo.com/ - you can use Meebo ANYWHERE, no matter what computer you're on. Elliott Cable ‹talk› ‹contribs› 21:08, 18 May 2006 (MDT)
- Well... I REALLY need to get on IRC now.... But, I want two things changed before the merger, and please tell me if these are possible. 1) The side bar to go to the other side (the left side). 2) Room for a logo. Tell me if this is possible, when it will be done, then I will merge most likely. I hope we can chat soon, --Green Dragon 19:39, 19 May 2006 (MDT)
- /sigh I reaalllyy need to talk to you - to make the main point clear, I refuse to do all the changing work again. I spent two days - I'll make it big so you can understand:

- Two days. Two (2) days, thats one day, then another.
- two days, going through you're entire database and updating numbers and UIDs to be compatible with our server. Now, since more time has passed, the database has changed - there have been at least 20 edits, maybe more; users may have visited and gotten update info, the database has been changed in multi-faceted ways - and I am NOT doing it again. If you do merge, we're using the database that we already went with - meaning any changes since the database dump that I worked on WILL BE LOST. Dwimlesky made some changes, you have too, even a few talk page notes - and they will be lost. Now, my real point here, is that the longer you delay this, the MORE the time is wated for everybody. As you're 'deciding', you and your twin and others are making edits and database changes, and those are all WASTED. They will be as if they NEVER HAPPENED when and if we switch - which screws everything up. Better would be to make this CHANGE, so other people's time isn't wasted, THEN figure out the details. A logo may be a possibility we can talk about that, but I can't move the sidebar - it's all based on carefully constructed and aligned images, and most of all, I want it there - as I have explain to you multiple times: there are definite HIG guideleines for putting the most important information on the left; and the CONTENT is the most important. More on that, when we can chat. Please find some way to get on AIM, MSN, or even Meebo - just something. Elliott Cable ‹talk› ‹contribs› 21:09, 19 May 2006 (MDT)
- If it might help, there's a (semi-) freeprogram called trillian that could suit your needs. Perhaps making a personal Chatroom for both DnDWiki and your own little convo might help? You could then use Trillian to connect to that chatroom every time you load up. Just a thought.

Ummm?
You never answered on if a MSRD page would be a good idea, and if so how do I set it up? - Wolfen
Ok
The MSRD is the d20 Modern equivalent of the SRD, also made by WotC. [1] It contains the bulk of these books; d20 Modern Core, Urban Arcana, d20 Menace Manual, d20 Future. I just think the SRD section wasa great idea and would like to do something similar for Modern. Wadya think? --Wolfen Fenrison
Sweet
if you could give me a link to his talk page that would be great, thanks. --Wolfen Fenrison
Thanks for the "Hello"
I know, I know. It's been a long while because of my studies, and I still think I won't be able to post much more (C++ and SQL is driving me nuts :P). But I'm still gonna take a look now and then, and perhaps I even someday post my Manifest Soul base class (the development process can be found in this thread: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=576918). --Ra-Tiel 09:57, 29 April 2006 (MST)
MSDR
This is a large project. I have a few thoughts about it. My main thought is that I don't want to lead that project. My second thought is that I may do some basic processing, then let somebody else make it all nice. My third thought is that I'm just not up to that much work. In the end, I'll putter around with it, but I still have so much work left with the SRD that it just isn't a priority. --Dmilewski 07:06, 30 April 2006 (MDT)
Not sure
He is using a program I've never heard of so I don't think I'll be much help, but if you guys need me for it somehow you know how to get ahold of me. --Wolfen Fenrison
