Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). The Biggest Terry[edit]

Hi, I was the user that nominated the page you created, The Biggest Terry, for deletion. I guessed from the moment I laid eyes on the page that it was a joke page. It's okay to make joke pages on the wiki (though you do need to use the {{April Fools}} template on such a page), but I can't even tell what the joke is supposed to be on that page other than "lol big numbers." Who's Terry? Additionally, even joke pages need to be coherent; on your page I can't understand half of what it's trying to say, if that. Suffice it to say, the spelling, grammar, and terminology on that page need much improvement. Additionally also, I see you've removed the maintenance templates that I placed on the page; you're generally not supposed to remove maintenance templates from pages without addressing the issues they raise, (in the case of {{delete}}) discussing its removal (either on the talk of the page itself, or in the tavern or on discord), or at the very least, especially if you believe the template's placement on the page was frivolous, talking to the user that placed the template.

I get that that page is a joke, but even considering that, the page, as it is currently, is a viable candidate for deletion. It's overpowered, incoherent in many spots, and not really all that funny. I've put the maintenance templates back on the page; please talk to me first before removing them again. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email)‎ . . 17:26, 28 November 2017 (MST)

Hi, I noticed you removed the maintenance templates again. I've replaced the templates again as the page is still quite difficult to understand, and is still a viable candidate for deletion. If you remove the templates again I will need to request administrator intervention. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email)‎ . . 22:56, 28 November 2017 (MST)
Hiya, BalancedDruid. Please note that we do have general balance requirements for articles. Dandwiki is not a notepad for personal DnD items, they should be balanced somewhat in level with SRD standards, so they're useable in all (or most) campaigns. I see the article is still actively being edited, so I won't intervene at the moment. But please realise that if it remains overpowered, it will be edited or deleted, as we do maintain balance standards. Do also have a peek at Help:Portal for information on making and editing articles. --SgtLion (talk) 06:17, 29 November 2017 (MST)

Block[edit]

Hi BalancedDruid. I have blocked you for a day, due to your harassing eits. I know you're frustrated, but insulting and harassing other users is not the way correct way to resolve your concerns. I'm an admin and you have my attention, I'm here to work with you if you wish to raise any issues. Please refrain from hostility to other users, in any circumstance, as it doesn't help anyone. --SgtLion (talk) 15:48, 29 November 2017 (MST)

I just want to say that I don't consider those edits on my page to be harassing, just vandalism (which is still bad, just not as bad as harassment). — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email)‎ . . 16:23, 29 November 2017 (MST)
