Wondrous Item, artifact (Requires attunement by spellcaster chosen by Casimir Lovataar)

A book with marble cover, dotted with one blue gem that looks like a glass eye, Tome of Forgotten Knowledge is an artifact created by Casimir Lovataar, god of knowledge and self-perfection. The book contains great knowledge about forgotten spells, ways of altering those to one's liking and great deal of history, but only statements that are objectively true. The item is commonly lend by the diety to his devout followers, as a token of appreciation or as an answer to a prayer of help. Sometimes Casimir throws this book from the orbit of a planet, and invisible strings of fate guide it to the hands of worthly, to help in hard situations like demonic invasions or unjust tyranny.
Random Properties. The Tome of Forgotten Knowledge has the following random properties:

  • 1 minor beneficial property
  • 1 major beneficial property

Attunement. The book can allow you to attune to it immediately, without having to take a short rest. The book won't serve anyone it regards as unwise, erratic, corrupt, or actively trying to harm or take advantage of innocent creatures. If the book rejects you, you make ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws with disadvantage for 24 hours. The book can be opened only by the person it is attuned to. Attunement ends if you or the book demands it.

Sentience. The Tome of Forgotten Knowledge is a sentient, neutral good item with an Intelligence of 28, a Wisdom of 23, and a Charisma of 17. It has hearing and normal vision out to a range of 30 feet. The book knows all languages, even those impossible to use by it's physical characteristics, like any speaking tongue or scent-based language of saurials. The book can communicate with any creature within 30 feet of it, producing sounds, scents, and writings on its cover.

Personality. The book's purpouse is to help anyone needing help in a just cause, and to gather and distribute knowledge about the world. The book believes it is an aspect of it's creator, and will never do anything he does not promote. The tome is also a little bias, favouring arcane spellcasters when choosing the person to attunenent. It can also block some or all of it's special features if it deems the person not ready to use them to their full potential, or sees them as too weak to currently benefit them.

Master of Spells. When you roll one or more dice as part of casting a spell except of rolling for damage, like for example in Reality Break spell, you can forgo rolling and instead freely pick one of the possible numbers.

Iron Focus. When you cast a spell that requires concentration, your concentration cannot be broken until the end of your next turn.

Power of Ancient Magic. When you cast a spell of 1st level of higher, the spell counts as casted with a spell slot one level higher than the one used for this casting.
Destroying the Tome of Forgotten Knowledge. Book is impossible to open by someone not attuned to it. When a creature with a Strength score of 30 tries to open it, marble cover breaks, and tome ignites, burning everything around it in a 40ft radius for 20d10 fire damage, leaving only ashes of itself behind. Then the book reforms in one of the hands of Casimir Lovataar. To destroy the book one must force it open while Casimir, and every single one of his avatars have both of their hands cut, torn off or otherwise destroyed.
