BLUF
Half of the old Imperium. Illyrian Houses restarted the Imperium at the beginning of the Fourth Age and their lands were the cultural heart of the westlands. The people of Argenta, Mayne, Ineria, Alba, Tionne, and many others lived and worked at the crossroads of Northern, Beldroni, and Cormyri culture and forged order where the old Empire’s fall had left a slow decline. Their lands were the first to fall however. Southern lords hungry for power quickly joined the rebellion and by the time the Stormlord had shown his true colors they were too loyal to ever back down. Illyria is now a wasteland of ruins and fallow farms. Nomadic groups of people pick their way from ruin to ruin while warlords from the Stormlands and the Fenlands expand their influence. House Tionne has laid claim to all of Illyria, and makes periodic expansions into the fertile and once productive lands, but it will be a long time before happy voices fill Illyrian cities.
