Errors[edit]

I made some errors in this build and I would love to get some help replacing them. Both the 1 level dip prestiges I take I can't meet the prereqs for. I think one of them could be replaced by Assassin, but I don't know what to do with the other. What does Ronin require? --Aarnott 13:40, 12 December 2007 (MST)

Any nonlawful, BAB +6, EWP (bastard sword), and must have fled or been exiled from the service of a feudal lord. --Daniel Draco 14:05, 12 December 2007 (MST)

Multiple Defending Weapons[edit]

The bonus multiple defending weapons do not stack. This has come up a number of times in the WotC boards. "A defending weapon allows the wielder to transfer some or all of the sword’s enhancement bonus to his AC as a bonus that stacks with all others." "Others" meaning any bonus that doesn't come from a defending weapon. —Sledged (talk) 14:56, 6 January 2008 (MST)

Oops -- guess I misread that. Too bad... This build needs lots of work, and I'm eventually going to get to it. --Aarnott 19:31, 6 January 2008 (MST)

Touch Attacks[edit]

This does not work. You get a touch attack. Touch attacks are limited to 1/round/natural attack. If you want this to work then get a bunch of weapons and use something like wraith strike in place of chill touch. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 199.212.250.95 (talkcontribs) . I must have missed that in the rules. Where does it say the limit of touch attacks? --Aarnott 09:31, 3 December 2008 (MST)
I've missed this too. Never heard of this rule.   Hooper   talk    contribs    email   09:35, 3 December 2008 (MST)

Multiple Gauntlets Problem[edit]

You can't wear 2 sets of gauntlets and stack the benefits for the same reason you can't wear 10 rings. However you can wear two different sets of gauntlets and use a free action to switch effects just as with having more than 2 rings on. For example, If you have +5 Bracers of Str and +5 Bracers of Armor you could choose which is active depending on the situation, but you can't have both at the same time. All this is explained in the DM's Guide pg.214. Nice Build by the way, don't give up!

Yes, but you can weild as many magical weapons (in this case defending gauntlets) as you can hold, and gain the weapon properties of them all. Note that if you want to combine this with non-weapon properties, such as gloves of dexterity, the cost of those other effects increases by 50% (DMG pg 282). The problem with the munchkin build is that defending doesn't stack with itself. --Edwin 15:13, 29 April 2009 (MDT)

Ability scores[edit]

Where did you get the ability scores for the non-psionic kreen? --Edwin 10:47, 23 April 2009 (MDT)
